Weather Situation A warm front is currently weakening over Tasmania as a cold front approaches from the west, crossing the state overnight then moving away to the east early tomorrow as an area of low pressure passes well to the south of the state. A broad ridge of high pressure will extend over the Bight on Wednesday then move east over Tasmania early on Thursday as the associated high centre passes to the north of the state and another cold front approaches from the west.
