Weather Situation A high centred near the southwest of Western Australia extends a ridge to the northern Tasman Sea. A weak cold front is expected to cross the state overnight and into early tomorrow as the high strengthens and moves eastward, to become centred near western Victoria in the evening. The high will then move to the northeast of Tasmania during Tuesday. A northerly airflow should then freshen into Wednesday as a weakening cold front approaches across the Bight. A north to northwesterly flow is expected to persist into Thursday as the high remains over the Tasman Sea and the front slides past the southwest of the state.
