Foreign Minister Attends the 7th Bali Democracy Forum Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se attended the seventh Bali Democracy Forum held in the namesake city, Indonesia, on October 10 under the theme of “Regional Development in the Democratic Architecture: Dynamics of Political Development, Social-Economic Progress and Public Participation in the Democratic Process.” In his keynote speech, Minister Yun pointed out that the ROK government, in order to achieve the qualitative growth of democracy, is shifting its paradigm of development from the state to the people. He went on to highlight the importance of promoting the following to achieve such growth: democratic governance; education of democratic citizens; participation of women; and inclusive growth.
