Forever is a forensic drama on ABC about Dr. Henry Morgan, a medical examiner for the NYPD who can neither die nor has he aged since the 18th century. Following the shows premise is an even deeper plot centered around Dr. Morgan and another mysterious immortal man, a relationship reminding me of a Holmes vs. Moriarty scenario. While still too soon to make a full observation, the show has great potential. Its premise is original and the writing is solid, filled great dialogue. There are really only four regular characters which keeps each episode from feeling over crowded and giving it plenty of room to grow in the future. This is not a show I would recommend to the particularly squeamish, however, with a tiny bit of gore and, as you can imagine with a premise like this, lots of dying.
