Forgive me for not knowing the full story on the history of Frankie Knuckles Your Love and the label who own it, Trax. Randomer alerted me to Stephen Titmus Resident Advisor article where he comments on his anger at the label. My hope was that his estate would see some of the royalties from the sales of the track and the campaign thats aiming to get it to No. 1, and that a new generation would learn about him in the process. However, if this is something that would be against his best wishes - which it sounds like it was - then its not something that any fan of his would want to support. I have emailed the press contact at Trax asking for an answer on whether his family will see any of the proceeds or whether an appropriate charity donation will be made. Will let you all know if I hear anything back. Apologies again for promoting something before knowing the full story, and please read the article. Thanks again to Randomer for sharing.
