Forgot to mention we passed 50 000 followers on Twitter, 350 likes on FB & 1000 followers on IG. The numbers may seem high but Im still working on converting followers into fans. I also realized I never really explained where my head was at when I created the song & video for Paper Plane. As Ive mentioned before, I began working on the song back in February, and at the time I was really into artists such as XXYYXX & Chance The Rapper. The beat is heavily influenced by the work of XXYYXX; it is intended to have a very chill and trippy vibe to it. The lyrics were purposely kept short and simple so they didnt take away from the music. But, that is not to say there isnt still depth in what I say. Its up to you whether youd like to just vibe to the melodies or really understand what Im saying; both are perfectly fine. The idea behind the video was to minimize the presence of humans and artificial objects. Thats why the video is primarily composed of plants, animals and nature. The concept of it all was to promote happiness and simplicity. The world naturally has so much to offer that we often miss. I definitely suggest leaving your bubble and go exploring sometime, itll definitely be worth it :) Maybe even go fly a paper airplane haha.
