Formal apology letter from one member of the NorCal group. See?? Thats all i needed! Thank you Anne!! :D :D Scott, I have been so upset over all the talk about Memory Lane. I was a back seat ride along and have been trying to figure out how to apologize without sounding like I am making excuses. I have drafted note after note in my mind and on the computer, and nothing sounds right. There is no excuse! And I took this very personally, I really am not like that. We were moving along through the Cache a Day caches and some others and turned down this lane and I(we) had not read the cache page to note that there was a final. I did notice the code in the lid after a couple of caches and asked that we go back to replace them. We went back for one and realized we didnt know which went where. I should have been proactive and emailed you right away. I insisted we leave the two caches at the last one so you would at least have the container to replace/return to its original location. I am truly sorry and if there is anything I can do to make it up to you and the other cachers that it caused a problem for. Would love to send you a gas card or a gift certificate for dinner ( I am serious). Colorado is a beautiful state and I had a great time there, the group that I was with was way to fast paced for me and I missed a lot of the enjoyment and scenery. Dont know what else to say, and other than I am so sorry and there is no excuse for my behavior, I cant speak for the whole group, but I am truly embarrassed and my head hangs with tears in my eyes for what I have done and what has been said about me as part of the group. Please accept my late apology. Feel free to call, text or email. Some things cant be said in an email.
