Former First Lady of Virginia Maureen McDonnell showed up unexpectedly in court today as her estranged husband former Governor Ultrasound was being sentenced to two years in prison for corruption. Looking somewhat disheveled after being thrown under the bus multiple times by her husbands legal team Maureen presumably came to protest the undue leniency of his sentence since the prosecution had asked for eight years of incarceration. Arriving late she was still in time to hear her sister in-law praise Governor Bob as the go-to parent in the family. As opposed -- implicitly -- to the crazy bag lady in the blue Oscar de la Renta ball gown huddling in the back of the courtroom. Maureen is currently sleeping rough in the Boston Common and will be looking forward to her own sentencing next month after which the federal tax payers will be providing her with free room and board for the foreseeable future.
