Former Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has expressed sadness about the shocking death of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and captain Senzo Meyiwa.The 27-year-old was reportedly shot at an apartment in Vosloorus in Johannesburg and declared dead on arrival at the hospital.Sad to hear about the passing of the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and captain Senzo Meyiwa. My prayers are with his family and the team. Keshi tweeted. The South African Police Services has confirmed the death on its Twitter account on Sunday night and urged for calm, promising to bring the killers to book. Meyiwa was in action for his club Orlando Pirates on Saturday night as they beat visiting Ajax Cape Town 4:1 in the Premier Soccer League. He has been a rock between the sticks for Bafana Bafana in their impressive 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign. Four games on, he has not conceded a single goal against Sudan and Nigeria as well as in the double-header with Congo-Brazzaville. Teammate Dean Furman tweeted: Beyond devastated at the loss of our captain and friend Senzo Meyiwa. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this terrible time.
