Former Saint Kilda player Stephen Milnes punishment for what happened ten years ago is diabolical.If the Victorian Police had done their job properly a decade ago then it wouldnt have had to come down to this. The verdict and pumishment by the Victorian courts will give women all around Australia,especially women in Victoria,no confidence in coming forward to the Police to report any sort of crime. The Victorian Police,judges, magistrates etc. should all go back to school to learn some manners. It was a classic case of Police looking after their mates given that the Police Station that originally investigated the claims was right next door to the Saint Kilda players favourite drinking spot and was only brought to a head a couple of years ago because of corruption issues. Heres hoping Stephen Milne never plays another game of football at any level ever again.Or coach for that matter.
