Fort Carson has adjusted its reverse duty cycle work schedule to - TopicsExpress

Fort Carson has adjusted its reverse duty cycle work schedule to begin at 7:30 a.m. in efforts to help minimize traffic near Fort Carson in Colorado Springs and Fountain. Instead of training in cold weather conditions, the reverse cycle duty day maximizes combat readiness by enabling Soldiers to conduct Physical Readiness Training during warmer weather in the afternoon. The reverse training cycle leads to a decrease in cold-weather related injuries and exercise-induced asthma symptoms, as well. Fort Carson will continue to assess this new schedule and find ways to help mitigate impacts by working closely with our partners from the surrounding communities.
