He was the man who first showed me the brilliant rings of Saturn through a telescope he had built by hand. And then he gave me a stack of science books to read and discuss with him. He was brilliant. He was the best dad a girl could hope for...and he is forever missed. There is nothing in all the earth that you and I can do for the Dead. They are past our help and past our praise.
