Forum with information officers held in Aklan The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) of Regional Office 6 held today,June 27, a forum with the information officers and media practinioners as well as representatives from the Office of Senior Citizens (OSCA) of Kalibo to tackle the programs for the elderly as well as other endeabors of government agency. Information Officers (IO’s) from the Aklan Police Provincial Office attend the said activity to participate in the fast implementation of information dissemination. DSWD is one of the prime partners of PNP in securing and protecting the children and elderly. Issues on how to protect, social pension program, supplementary feeding program, 4P’s and other related topics are disscused in the forum. IO’s were also encouraged to have a dialogue and disseminate the information they have learned in the forum in their locality for better understanding of the said programs of DSWD. ### (PO1 C.
