Foster mom Linda says, The happiest I have seen Libby Lou was - TopicsExpress

Foster mom Linda says, The happiest I have seen Libby Lou was three days after she had her damaged eye removed. This is a happy silly girl. Wasnt this way when we first got word of her, Libby Lou was barely out of puppyhood before she had her own puppies. Hit by a car, patched up by a shelter vet, terribly thin and injured a few days later she popped out 4 puppies! The shelter volunteers were surprised if not shocked but thrilled to take the extra efforts to find a rescue willing to take her in. Whiskers, Tails and Ferals opened their arms and brought Libby Lou and her 4 pups to the Napa Valley. With time to ween her babies and recover from her injuries, Libby gained strength and trust in the Cassidy foster home. Now with her babies adopted, the surgery behind her, Libby feels the job as a mama is done. She nearly kicks up her paws she is so happy and feeling great! Libby made some beautiful puppies, worked hard to eat enough to keep them well fed and growing strong. Libby has strong work ethics, she must with her history. A bit protective she will bark at someone she doesnt know, just to make sure that new person knows she has her one eye on them. Doesnt take too long or too many treats to win her over. Kids? Well over 10 would be best. Cats? Absolutely loves to ignore them. She loves to play with dogs about her size but does very well with the giant male Pyrenees she lives with. Also loves the small backyard she has to run around in and adores her chewbones and those of every other dog that leaves their chew unattended for even a second. She likes to hide them under her bed or under the pillow on the sofa. I found 5 of them just tonight. To see Libby now, happy and feeling great makes me realize how much better she feels. She is ready to go! If you think Libby Lou would be the perfect dog to complete your family then email Linda at [email protected]. Libby attends the Saturday adoptions at the Petco. This dog comes spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information at whiskerstailsandferals.org/. Adoption fees may vary depending on specials, age, etc.
