Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Melanie! This adorable, 9 month old girl is super lucky…you know a pup is special when the Baldwin Park shelter keeps them around for 2 months! Not to mention over the 4th of July too! Sadly, Melanie was at the end and we were asked by some great volunteers there to help her. How do you let a puppy, who has defied the odds, die at the shelter? Well, we couldnt and now she is safe with us! Melanie is a just the nicest, happiest, friendliest girl around. She knows some basic commands, appears to be house trained, great with other dogs, loves kids and is the perfect balance of get up and go to snuggling on the couch.
