Fostering Outside of South Florida We always hear people say, Id love to foster but I dont live in South Florida... If you are out of our area but would like to help the cause by opening your home to a foster Doxie there are Dachshund rescues across the country. And they could use your help as much as we can. We did Google searches today that instantly revealed Doxie rescues in Alabama, New York, Louisiana, Ohio, Central Texas, etc. A simple Google search of Dachshund rescue + (your area) will let you know if theres one in your area, and trust us, they would welcome your help. Unwanted dogs are an epidemic, and we arent the only rescue overwhelmed and in need of foster homes.
