Fosters desperately needed! Must be experienced cat person. Heres the situation-- For about 6 months, we have been working with an elderly lady who ended up with about 60 cats in her house and more outside. (Please save your judgement; she just took in strays who were starving and freezing outside her house. They are NOT having babies in her house because she separated male from female.) We have taken about 35 cats from her so far. There are somewhere between 25 and 35 more that need to be rescued asap. Conditions at the house and the ladys health has drastically deteriorated recently and these cats desperately need to be taken out of the house into healthy foster homes. The cats need socializing. So a foster MUST have experience with cats that need help adapting to a new home and family. All of these cats seem to do well with other cats so they fit right in to a home with friendly cats. They will come to you fixed and vaccinated. What they need is a loving patient understanding foster to help them move on to the next stage of either going to a normal family home, or possibly preparing for a barn home.
