Found: I NEED YOUR HELP! I found a small dog hit by a car on DeerBrook Rd. here in Lenoir on the night of Saturday October 5th. We got the dog out of the road and it seems to be okay. Small dog, long haired, brownish tan in color. Possibly Pomeranian chihuaha. Not sure on the gender of the dog. Animal Control came to pick the dog up. We were told by the officer that they would keep her for 3 business days after that the dog will be EUTHENIZED. I have until Wednesday October 9th to find the owner or to find anyone who will take the dog. PLEASE SHARE THIS AND PASS IT ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. We were also told that at the Animal Control Shelter the dog would not have any veterinary care. If you think this may be your dog please message me or post on this status. You can also contact the Sherriffs Dept. or Caldwell County Animal Control. The officers name that picked up the dog was Trivett.
