Found this survey sent to me by the chamber of commerce. Note they do not have None only Other for My preferred choice for Additional Airport Capacity None, No expansion at all, in fact it should be contracted as an undesirable and damaging sector for kent and the planet. It not only destroys vital local jobs as people fly around the globe but also the planet, threatening us all. I would like to see less flights, NO transfers at all as they add nothing to the local economy in any way at all, the so called HUB should be made redundant by encouraging less people wanting to fly. I strongly urge the representatives to take a strong anti-fly stance in the protection of our rural landscape under threat by purely profit motivated enterprise that should be made aware of the harm their practices make and made to fund, as best practice, much needed repairs to our environment Dear Laurence Snook Sir Howard Davies, who Chairs the Airports Commission is currently looking at where is best placed to have the much needed airport capacity for the South East and UK. He is due to publish his report in the Summer of 2015. We know that he has taken forward proposals for expansion at both Gatwick and Heathrow for further consideration. He will be announcing next month whether a new Hub Airport on the Isle of Grain will also be included, along with Gatwick and Heathrow for further consideration. As a Chamber we have not publicly supported a particular scheme but feel that time is right for us to hear the views of the business community. There are many articles on the web regarding all three options and the Airports Commission website has a full report here We would very much welcome your view and the link below is to a one question survey and your comments would be most welcome. Closing date for the survey is Friday 22nd August 2014 at 5.00pm. Click here to enter the survey Thanking you in advance for your participation, this is an important statement that we will be making on behalf of the Membership, so please do take the time to respond and have your voice heard. Kind regards Jo James Chief Executive Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce https://surveymonkey/s/SNM29T3
