Four brave Malaysian youths are going to write one of the greatest records in Malaysian history! They are going to do a mission called “The Journey to Homeland: UK/Malaysia” where the four brave youthsare going to cycle back from United Kingdom to Malaysia by bicycle. The distance of the journey will be approximately around 15,000 km, and it will take a maximum of 17 months for the cyclists to complete the journey. The team will be led by a MEng in Mechanical Engineering graduate from The University of Sheffield, named as Badrul Hisham bin Burhanuddin. Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi, Malaysian High Commissioner (UK) will launch the journey. The launching ceremony will be held on 01 August 2014 (Friday) from 09.00 am to 11.00 am at Malaysian High Commission, London. This ceremony will be an official starting point for this journey. Sheffield Malaysian Student Association (SMSA) would like to invite all Malaysians around United Kingdom and Ireland to come to the launching ceremony and give motivational support to Badrul Hisham and his team.
