Four days of subbing left (and my schedule is already full) then - TopicsExpress

Four days of subbing left (and my schedule is already full) then we start the transition with the teacher that is retiring. Still no definite whether it will be a long-term sub spot for the rest of the year. Which mean I get regular sub pay for the first 30 days then get bumped to a first year teachers rate with possibility of benefits for two months. Or there is still the possibility that I could be hired under a contract, which means regular pay from day one for a teacher with 7 years experience plus benefits. The school is Meadowdale K-8 and I will be teaching 5th grade math and science. Doesnt matter what happens to me. At least by next school year I will be finally back to getting a pay that is livable, the end of a four year journey. Transitioning to Dayton has not been easy, job wise, but looks like this struggle will soon lift (in Gods time). Ive been promised many jobs over the years, so Im not getting excited until its official. Then when that day comes, Cheri Graham and I are going out and then will be smoking some BBQ for our family and friends that have supported us in prayer during this time. I might even make some cheesecakes when that day comes. The principal might find out tomorrow what he can offer me.
