Four puppies were born in the wee hours last night at PETS. Inc. Their mommy, Gold Dust, is a neglected 3 or 4 year old Bully mix with an excellent temperament with all people. We dont know her well enough to know if she is good with other animals ... and now that she has newborn pups to protect, we may not know her true attitude about them until the pups are weaned. This of course will make it hard to find a foster home but she cannot stay at our kennel for 6 weeks. Even if we had room, which we dont, it would be far too stressful for her and the pups. Please help us spread the word about her special need for a foster home (indoors or outdoors) where she can be the only dog. Perhaps someone who cannot have a dog permanently can host Gold Dust and her four puppies until they can be put up for adoption.
