Four years ago today, I was driving up to the beach to see my Dad for Sunday Dinner. He was,not answering any of my calls.Immediately realizing something was wrong I drove faster, feeling sick to my stomach.I get their,doors locked. Hes not answering. His neighbors come out and Say We thought Jim was with you, we havnt seen him in like 5 days..Now being his only child, I knew again something wasnt right. So after seeing his landlord to help me get in, I discovered my father was indeed home, but had passed away very unexpectedly. I couldnt breath, I felt like I was dying, but I also needed to some what keep my composure for my 2 children that were present ,and the one on the way.The next couple hours would be the longest, ever, waiting for the M.E and the funeral home to come. I couldnt sleep that night, wondering if my dad suffered, knowing that he died all by himself, and worried that he was cold and still all by himself at the funeral home. The point of sharing this with you, is to never hold a grudge for stupid things and talk them out, because one day that person might be their one day but not the next. I love you Dad ans wish you were here to see me and the girls.Their is not a day that doesnt go by that I dont think of you, and wish how things would be.See you someday my angel
