Four years ago when I was visiting a friend in Melbourne, FL. we went for an early morning walk on the beach so I could get some pictures of the sunrise. It turned out to be cloudy so no sun, but what I ended up experiencing was so, so much better! We were walking along and I caught a small movement out of the corner of my eye. I didnt pay much attention until I saw it again in various spots around us on the beach. We had come across a small unmarked sea turtle nest, they had just hatched and were venturing out to make their trip into the ocean. I felt so blessed to have been able to witness this event that so very few people get to see. We stayed out there for a couple of hours, watching them as they would get all the way down to the water only to be washed way back up on the sand. But determination won and they all finally made it into the water. It is something that I will never forget and I wanted to share some of the pictures with you!
