Fourhand: Best Tweener Ever, Decker Talks Roddick & More Its - TopicsExpress

Fourhand: Best Tweener Ever, Decker Talks Roddick & More Its time for another round of Fourhand amuse-bouches, including Andreas Seppis arguable best shot ever, slinky throwback fashion, and more. BETWEEN THINGS Roger Federer has nothing on this: Andreas Seppi hit an outside-of-the-line-licking tweener in his opening victory against Mikhail Youzhny in Monte Carlo this week. The Italian would fall two rounds later to—who else?—Rafael Nadal. B-DECKED Andy Roddicks wife, model/actress/resident babe Brooklyn Decker, appeared on Craig Fergusons late-night talk show recently, and the two discussed tennis at more length than you usually see for one only mildly involved with the sport. Note: Deckers anger on court may be greater than that of her husband. (Shes fond of smashing a racquet post-lesson.) TURN BACK TIME It can be fun to recall simpler times, dare I say more elegant times. One of my favorite tennis-centric Tumblr pages is Tennis Vintage Style, and Id like to share it with you now. (Heres a favorite post. Who wouldnt want to be these gals?) On a similar note, for pop-culture-infused tennis posts, nothing beats What Should We Call Tennis in my book. Question: What are your own favorite tennis accounts? Let me know, and if I like them, Ill shout you out in a future Spin dispatch. IF YOU MISSED IT The shift from one to two courts inside the arena at last weeks Katowice Open was captured in this rapid-motion clip, all of 14 seconds long.
