Foutas family has always been interested in public affairs. Our family was born in this village and have deep roots. Its descendants have been following the steps of its ancestors with one objective; assist, back up and provide their help for the welfare of Pissouri on voluntary basis. It is well admitted that jealousy and envy are two components that emerge when the idle and biased people wish to hit and insult the people when the latter work for the public good. Christos Foutas, our muchtar, has spent a whole life to see Pissouri to be one of the the most progressive and competitive villages across Cyprus. He was a supporter and advocate of law and transparency, He was the person who loved this place and proved that by taking parts (STRAIGHT ELECTED BY PEOPLE) in many organisations in the village. He fell a victim of conspiracy and envy because he was a very strong hitch of private interests. I must acknowledge you that he has appealed on the the supreme court in order to prove his innocence. However, this is not going to break down our courage and interest for the public affairs; in opposition , it made us stronger and more assertive. Now, i must admit that its very encouraging for us to have people supporting identical purposes, believes , concepts and objectives via the the diversification of views and opinion which have a positive impact for the progress of a place. Believe me , there are no constrains of origin, nationality , language and color . We are all creatures of god and we all have the same rights and obligations. We must all together, roll up our sleeves , put aside the personal ambitions and interests, use the word we and not I . I have been reading all of your views on a range of issues that have been raising on the site. Its really amazing how views, concerns, ideas , emotion and queries are posted here and rapidly transferred . Lets all work for pissouri. Everyones contribution on a collective basis is critical for all of US. Lets make Pissouri , our heart and soul , the core of honesty , togetherness and friendliness.
