Fq: At a maternal/fetal medicine scan at 16 weeks (FTM), what they thought was abnormalities in the organs turned out to be something far worse. They said the baby had hydrops fetalis, excess fluid all over her body, and that its very unlikely shell live for the next couple weeks, little long full term. The doctor said theres a zero survivability rate at this point. Has anyone gotten these horrible results and what did you do both medically and emotionally? Im only 27 and healthy and the doctor said its incredibly likely for me to go on and have a healthy pregnancy in the future. Just dont know what to do in the here and now.
