Fragile hearts:- American Muslims (a big number but not all), I - TopicsExpress

Fragile hearts:- American Muslims (a big number but not all), I feel, go way overboard in hero worship raising Muslim religious speakers way above their status to a huge celebrity like adoration - seems to be a Hollywood celebrity-fix habit lingering around in the hearts of those Muslims! British Muslims on the other opposite hand seem to knock people down to below their rightful status. I dont know where that tendency comes from! One thing I noticed from the American Muslims celebrity worship is how craving in your heart something that is Munkar (bad/wrong) leads you to finding one or another way of falling into that wrong sooner or later. Hence the Prophet (s) saying Whoever among you sees a wrong let him change it with his hand, If couldnt then with his tongue, If couldnt then by his heart and that is the weakest of Iman. When we see wrong and crave it, we tend to fall into it sooner or later, in one way or another, hence the wisdom from the Prophet (s) to dislike the wrong at least in your heart and that way you will instinctively keep away from it! To rest of Muslims around the world, I suggest we dont follow one or the other extremes mentioned above, but instead remember the Prophets (s.a.w.s) saying The best of the matters are the balanced (central) ones. خير الأمور أوسطها. !!!
