Frameline, the premier LGBT media arts organization in the US, just announced its grantees for its Completion Fund. One such grantee, OUT RUN (Johnny Symons, S Leo Chiang, co-directors) is a feature-length documentary that follows a transgender Filipina who fights hostility, discrimination and persecution in her quest to be the first openly LGBTQ elected official in the Philippines.
