Francesco Cochetti did a really good intervention at the General Assembly of ENCI, the Italian Kennel Club this Saturday. Its so nice to see that also in Italy there is still someone who is not afraid to talk straight in the faces of the board members. Well done Francesco Cochetti! This is a translation from what Anglea Ferrullo, member of the ENCI wrote in Italian: Doctor Cochetti debated interesting topics regarding the WDS in Italy 2015, asking these questions in front of everybody at the General Assembly of ENCI 1) Crufts 2014. Why the Italian KC didn’t have an own and proper stand there, to advertise the WDS 2015 in proper way. Instead there were two employees of the ENCI standing in a corner of the stand of Our Dogs and they didn’t even have a proper plan for advertising the WDS 2015. There was only a leaflet which was announcing the WDS and a reference on it to the wds website. He found it a damage to the image of the Italian KC and unreasonable that still in April 2014 there is not yet the complete plan or program with the list of judges which must includes also the group finlas. 2) Dr Cochetti was asking why there are several judges who will judge the same breeds they already judged in WDS in Paris. 3) He was asking why the World Dog Show Committe is released before they even finished their own duty. 4) How is the situation with the ring stewards for the WDS. No one of the local clubs have been contacted for having the list of the local ring stewards. 5) Finally he put the emphasies on mentioning the good work of the Finns for the WDS 2014 in Finland were they have invited 116 judges who will represent 33 countires, instead of 250 judges invited for the WDS in Italy.
