Freddys Friends was called today about a beautiful young rottweiler male that had been hit by a car. My spanish is ???? But it is my understanding that this poor boy was hit FIVE days ago and seemed o.k. but NOW is not. Dr. Angel is out of town till tomorrow so we are attacking this boy with everything in the medicine cabinet to keep him comfortable till Dr. Angel comes by tomorrow. We are not planning to move him any more than we have to. :( He needs your puppy prayers. I fear a broken hip/leg on the right side...he is eating...and the fever is coming down SLOWLY....We, as FREDDYs FRIENDS has always tried to offer items for sale, horseback rides, river rides, rugs, and many other things to sell and use the profits 100% for the worming meds, spays, and emergencies like these. LATELY, the weather has not permitted most of fund raisers. Our last FUNNEL cake, although we are greatly appreciative of those who purchased and enjoyed them....we did not sell enough to cover expenses. :( That is why we did not have a booth at Brunos. :( We hope to have good weather again soon and offer SOMETHING for your donations/support. BUT, we have never asked for donations for nothing before. If anyone feels moved to donate for the surgery this beautiful dog may need....we can offer a credit towards a ride or funnel cake or a rug or anything you would like. Our spays and re-homing babies has been going great but that eats away at our FREDDYs PIGGY BANK. As always, thank you for all your support in work and with your pocket book and puppy/kitty prayers. I will keep you posted on Dr. Angels analysis of this boy as news comes in and so hoping he does not have to be put down. His family loves him very much, but like most families...they feed him good but have no money for vet bills. His personality at such a time proves he is very loved and a loyal family member.
