Free Kingston Transit rides Sat Aug. 3 to the Princess St. Promenade street festival! Riding Kingston Transit is free city-wide all day on August 3 to promote active transportation – one of the key objectives of the Princess St. Promenade festival. This DowntownKingston! event is designed to make Princess Street a pedestrian-friendly, vehicular-free festival zone, to promote the use of active transportation (walking, cycling or riding Kingston Transit) to get downtown. Princess St will be closed 10am to 4pm (Barrie to Ontario St).
