His first solo project, B Bop & RockSteddy, dropped in early 2014. EdAble is working on his second solo album KrAterfAce which he produces almost entirely himself. In 2005 he played his first live show and has been performing live across many states for the last 9 1/2 years. He grew up on the late 80s and golden era 90s Hiphop which you can see through his own music. Evolution was highly influenced by the likes of Krs one, Rakim, Juice Crew, Wu tang, Gangstarr, M.O.P., Mobb Deep, People Under The Stairs, Tribe Called Quest, Dr, Dre and De La Soul to name a few. He focuses his music on current political situations, injustices, fictional storytelling and of course punchline battle raps. Evolution battle frequently in the earlier part of his career but now focuses more on his music and spoken word poetry. Grew up mainly listening to rap and hip hop, later began to expand my music horizons. I like to listen to all types of music. I like how a friend once told me Music is like food. Its meant to be enjoyed so we might as well enjoy it. I started rapping after I met my freind Jared the summer 2003. He was my sisters downstairs neighbor in Denver. Before that for some reason I never felt cool enough to rap since I was and still am just a dorky kid from the small town of Moriarty. He had a tape recorder that had a mic and we would play Mobb Deep and Gangstar instrumentals on the stereo and write rhymes and freestyle to them. Finally I felt like I found something I might actually be able to become great at. I went back to school in Moriarty for my junior year and not only showed my friends my newfound talent but encouraged them to do it as well. I used writing as a way to unbottle the way i felt about issues I have had in life like poverty, relatives being locked up, broken relationships, jobs I hated, and other personal issues. I have filled up dozens of notebooks with rhymes over the years but since I started doing shows in December of 2011 I have gone at an unprecedented pace.
