Free event! Meet the FIRST WOMAN OF COLOR to go into space! On Nov. 7 @ 7pm, Dr. Mae C. Jamison will be giving a free lecture at UH, open to the public. Mae C. Jemison blasted into orbit aboard the space shuttle Endeavour on September 12, 1992, the first woman of color to go into space. She went on to conduct experiments in life sciences, material sciences and was a co-investigator of the Bone Cell Research experiment. R.S.V.P. for the event at houstonalumni/rockwell
