Free nugget: Its impossible to go to the next level when you are yoked with folk who are stuck and stagnant at levels of complacency and mediocrity. You can not progress with people who digress and you will never advance with people who retreat or regress. Link up with forward thinking people and surround yourself with those that not only want more or talk about more. Rather, those that GO after more. Your circle can either hinder or help.
