Freedom Is Not Free! The last few days have been a whirlwind....I had the privilege and Honor to escort WW2 vets on the Honor Flight.....then went to Charleston to support and thank wounded warriors and their families. Both the WW2 vets and the wounded warriors are moving slower....some are still in pain....but they continue to fight each day. They love our country and have given so much....to watch the struggle some of these heroes go through to just get through a day is amazing and yet they do it with a smile on their face. We go about our daily lives complaining about our aches and pains and problems which are nothing compared to what these old vets and the wounded warriors deal with....they are not just heroes because they fought the enemy but because they continue to fight for life everyday. I once again witnessed the cost of Freedom and it aint free....these heroes continue to pay the price every day. THANK YOU!
