Fremont Search and Rescue will be hosting our Annual Recruitment Meeting on Monday September 23, 2013. The meeting will be at Mountain View Community Church at 200 Justice Center Rd, Cañon City, CO 81212. The meeting will start at 6:30PM. “If you are a backcountry enthusiast, avid hiker, backpacker, climber, rafter or just like to get outdoors and are willing to devote time to training with a team of volunteer professional backcountry rescuers and helping people we are looking for you” according to Kevin Rivard - FSAR Commander. The meeting will cover the mission of the Team, the membership process, along with our capabilities, e.g. Swift water rescue, Technical Rope Rescue, Alpine/Avalanche, Tracking and Medical.
