Fresh off a wildly successful Australia-wide tour with Perth trailblazers VOYAGER, support for Canadian prog phenomenon PROTEST THE HERO, and a showcase at the prestigious BIGSOUND music conference, Brisbane based progressive alternative tour-de-force Caligulas Horse once again hit the road to promote their brand new video from their critically acclaimed sophomore release The Tide, The Thief & River’s End, the epic opening track A Gift To Afterthought. Alongside the video track and all of their fan-favourites, the band will also be unveiling some new and never-performed material on the tour. CALIGULA’S HORSE will be kicking off their tour with a huge hometown show at Brisbane’s The Zoo on Friday January 16th, before heading to Sydney’s Factory Floor on the 23rd, Canberra’s The Basement on the 24th, Melbourne’s The Evelyn for an Australia Day Eve extravaganza on the 25th and Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on the 30th, with their tour finale taking place at Adelaide’s Enigma Bar on Saturday January 31st. Joining CALIGULA’S HORSE will be some of Australia’s premier progressive rock acts (on selected dates), including Sydney based powerhouse Breaking Orbit, Melbourne’s masters of the ‘Astral Space Core’ Alithia and the avant-garde Orsome Welles, who will be launching their debut EP Erth News Bulletin, plus local special guests.
