Fret and fury, Covenant despised The two main signs, signaling - TopicsExpress

Fret and fury, Covenant despised The two main signs, signaling the days of the returning King – as apostolically described to churches, who are disposed towards hearing – have one major characteristic in common. The one point of integration of the two is the indignation set against the covenant of the Lord. The agreement designed to define and prepare for a sanctified fellowship between God and His people includes geographical boundaries, a piece of land situated all too strategically for the sake of convenience in the Middle East. The very same covenant, as given to His chosen people – Jews as well as a gentile remnant, includes and provides spiritual capacity to represent in priestly purity and service the reality of eternal values which are to shine forth as proper testimony in humility. The one point of integration of the two major signs – the great apostasy among Christians and the appearing of an antichrist – gathers the classic contempt in regards to the covenant of the Lord, in its many aspects and pregnant manner of application. Prophet Daniel invites us for a perplexing journey into the heart of the matter in a short sequence, in which the full-fledged anti-Christian hatred and rejection of the covenant in all its expressions is recorded. Daniel is allowed to begin to speak of the deceitfulness to be recognized as a commonality in the final days – in the days of apostasy, as well as a marker of the antichristian mindset. Pacts and agreements made will seldom be truly honoured – deceitfulness, deceptiveness, trappings and double-dealings will be the deal of the day. It will be found on personal ground, trade and business will be severely infected, the religious arena will stand as a playground for spiritual powers posing as benevolent, pacts made among national leaders will be violated the very next hour. The antichristian approach in the natural as well as in the super-natural will come out as a heart set against any form of obedience and faithfulness based on covenants, especially and particularly the piece put forth by the Holy One of Israel. The antichristian mindset – as it appears according to the humanist frame, according to the settings of apostasy among Christians, according to the faith of the desert peoples surrounding Israel, displays at its core a classic contempt for the covenant of the Lord. Daniel describes in the shortest way possible the disappointment and grief which lies at the root of any form of opposition, rebellion and terrorism: “he, the anti-Christian man, shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant”. His approach is marked by fret and fury, his ways are perpetually marked by fret and fury… The antichristian man, the anti-Christ, acts at any given moment according to a fundamental pattern – soon to find its final expression: “He will pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.” The man who chooses to forfeit covenants in general, the Holy covenant in particular, will engage any and every means possible – carnal as well as spiritual, humanistic as well as religious – in his desire to violate that which belongs to the realm of holiness. In the days of the great falling away, the Church declares itself to be the sole representation of the covenant – the new Israel, a hideous form of rejecting heavenly realities. He, the antichristian man, pollutes sanctuaries by his presence, he rejects the rights of women and children, he pretends being spiritually inclined. His path is marked by hostility and suffering – he, himself acquires wealth as a means of protection while the poor are scorned. In the days, when you see these things coming… When you see the two signs appearing… When the many are thrilled by so called signs in the sky… When the days of finality are approaching, try to acquire insight – prophetic insight. First of all, avoid being stirred by deceptive preaching – which is solely based on scripture-twisting. Secondly, know that the one who gives himself to studying prophecy will grow in wisdom and knowledge… “They that understand among the people shall instruct many…” Thirdly, the Redeemer is about to come to Zion – for the sake of redeeming His people, the Jew first, and then a remnant among the gentile nations.
