Freya loving life with her foster family. We got an update from Dr. Russell earlier this week. The break in her leg was very bad. With the break being over 30 days old, they can not do corrective surgery. The growth plate was broken in half. The good news is that there is a chance that the leg will strengthen...the growth plate function...giving her some degree of full use of the leg. There is also a chance that it will not, which would result in little Freya becoming a tripod. Clearly what was done by the breeders .., by not taking her to a vet when her leg was broken...was abuse. Freya also made a trip to the vet yesterday because of a skin rash on her belly and legs. The vet suspects demodex even though the scrape was negative.She responded well to the medicated shampoo, already looking much better, Freya is a fun, social, friendly, puppy...she is available for adoption. dontbullyus.net/forms/adoption-application/
