Friar Album Of The Day: Silent Knight: Power Metal Supreme. This - TopicsExpress

Friar Album Of The Day: Silent Knight: Power Metal Supreme. This odd little gem is more EP with two studio tracks bookending what this band does best - play live. This band has put Perth, Oz on the friggin map, boys and girls. We are treated to 4 live tracks featuring new vocalist Jesse Onur Oz. Guitarist Cameron Dizzle Nicholas pulls out all the stops to establish himself as one of the worlds fastest, most accurate guitar players. Make no mistake though, this is power metal at its most insane. Stu McGill establishes the rhythm beast that is this band. His accurate harmonies help keep this strictly musical despite velocity and speed which are consistent throughout. The live performance of Australian death metal drumming legend, Dan Grainger, gets fast and heavy while never losing sight of the big picture - any songs overall melody and arrangements. What makes this EP even more precious is that it is limited to 100 copies of which this reviewer has #26. Absolutely world class and not to be missed. Independent: 26/100. (c)2014 Silent Knight. Recommended: Evil Is Thy Name but no share, so here is the first studio track: Rating: 11/10.
