Friday April 05, 2013, I for days had been planning using the shoulder of my daughter Tiffany for strength to go to Grafton City Hospital to see Dad. You see we all knew time was short and me being the weak person I am was doing everything in my mind to not go!!! It was hard,,, I am not good at hard,,, soooo… I worked late and procrastinated but regardless when I got home Tiff said lets go. I am so glad I did… As always on my day off I woke up early, April 06, 2013, and wow it was a beautiful day, the sun was bright and it felt good coming through the windows. Spring is and will always be my favorite time of the year, everything is bursting with life. I was sitting here in my “MAN” room, (closet) watching TV, Queen Vids, Rush Vids, Beatle Vids and the happy birthday wishes roll on my screen from friends near and far. It was turning into a great day, how could it not be… It was prefect, what a birthday… About BLAH am,(because everything went black at what ever time it was) my Mommy was calling me, and all I remember from that conversation is “He’s gone”. WHAT IS GONE??? I now celebrate this day as the day everything my Dad taught me finally making sense, all of what he said to me as correct and true. All of his actions for his family, town, state, country and world to be profound. My father’s love for whatever he did or was involved in was and is infallible. My Dad was to me perfect and my Dad is the best birthday present I ever got!!!
