Friday June 27th, beginning at 5:30 PM 10th Annual Pride Freedom Seder Come to our Seder, celebrate Pride, as we read the words of our community in our own Pride Haggadah. Our guests of honor this year will be the members of the board of the World Congress of GLBT Jews: Keshet Gaavah. Please bring a vegetarian dish to feed 8 people. Shaar Zahav will supply drinks. A $5 donation for members and $10 for non-members will help to cover our expenses. For the first time, the 25 Reform congregations in the greater Bay Area will march together in the San Francisco Pride Parade, June 29. Reform Jews from across the Bay Area will join together as one united group to show our solidarity with the Pride movement, proclaim our support of civil and human rights, and demonstrate our own strength in numbers.The Parade kicks off at 10:30 am on Sunday, June 29 at Market & Beale and ends at Market & 8th St. in downtown San Francisco.To march in the parade, URJ asks that each participant sign-up to be part of the official Reform Jewish contingent. There is no fee, but individual preregistration is required. (You will be emailed the assembly location before the Parade).
