Friday Night July 11th, I joined the St. Charles Relay for Life, celebrating the walk that cancer patients take on their Journey. We celebrated survivors. We hung close and walked the track as the names of those taken by the disease were called off, one-by-one. The luminaries lit up the sky as each remembered a loved one. This was my opportunity to give back, offering chair massage to raise money for the American Cancer Society. I was grateful to offer this outward focus and celebrate with the team Patsys Pals and Karin Sanfords team next to us. It was a warm and sweaty evening. Each massage recipient apologized for the sweat dripping off their body as they received their back rub. It was my Joy! I celebrate the survivors and the caregivers who were there....everyone was filled with a heart-centeredness which unites and creates a tight bond of love.
