Friday evening crews from Station 71 in central #Fontana responded to a call that highlights the how #SBCoFD crews work together with multiple public-safety agencies to bring order to a scene. Here a driver had lost control of her vehicle and gone off the street, flipping over numerous times while skidding through an entire parking lot before coming to rest against an adjacent building. Within minutes Fontana Police had secured the scene, while cross-trained SBCoFD firefighter/paramedics teamed with medics and EMTs from American Medial Response to treat the patient and manage hazards, ensuring the vehicles stability, eliminating fire hazards and conducting an inspection of the affected building.
