Friday is FAQt day! Q: What does TADL stand for? A: It is Traverse Area District Library, and includes all 6 public libraries in Grand Traverse County - Woodmere (main branch), Kingsley, East Bay, Peninsula, Interlochen, and Fife Lake. Access to one library gives you access to all of TADL. We borrow from each other on your behalf, and you can check out and/or return items at the library(ies) of your choice. Q: What do I have do to check out a library book? A: Its easy to gain access to the collections of all 6 TADL locations with one FREE card! Just come in with a photo ID and proof of your current address (drivers license; mail youve recently received in your name, etc.). Well check to be sure you dont already have an account (like from when the school brought you as a 4th grader), then help you get set up. In minutes, you will have a card in hand, and access to the entire Traverse Area District Library and all the cool things we have to offer our patrons! If you have an account, but lost your card, there is a small fee to get a replacement.
