Friday, is the most happening day of the week according to psychologist as it opens the doors for the weekends! WE ALL LOVE THE WEEKENDS! BEFORE we throw our bags down and enjoy the weekends, let me share ONE THING! I came across a number of people not really sure about what they are paying for when purchasing or selling their property. One of them is this called STAMP DUTY If you go to the government website, you probably have to strain those eyes, and read through ample times just to understand what the heck they meant. Let me explain this in laymans terms as best as I can. Why the need to pay Stamp Duty? Because if its not paid, TA will not be certified by the government. When theres any conflict of interest, the tenant will considered as a trespasser. Therefore the purpose for this is to PROTECT THE TENANT. Ive attached the rates of these stamp duties, a heads up, the amount could burn a hole in those pockets.
