Friday night comedy at The Late Bar, Bourne Funhouse Comedy returns to the Late Bar, Bourne on Friday March 7th for a laughter-packed night. Headlining is Alfie Moore who has appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’, BBC3’s Bizarre Crime, The Wright Stuff, Sky News and BBC Look North and at last year’s Edinburgh Festival, had one of his jokes voted 3rd best in ‘Dave’s Funniest Joke of The Fringe’. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache. Supporting is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’ and ‘Max & Paddy’. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everyone. Completing the line-up will be the courteous and clever Andrew Watts. Starting out as a solicitor in London he then decided to turn to stand-up. His unusual style is a mix of pretentiousness, uncertainty and poignant ineptitude, however the importance he places on the inconsequential, results in an inspiring and entertaining delivery. Compere for the night is the confident and chatty Paul Savage. . Tickets are £7.50 in advance 7.30pm doors 8.30pm start
