Friend or Foe? Saturday 20 July 2013 Galatians 4 :17 They are zealous of you, but not for good; yea, they would exclude you, that you might be zealous of them . Funny saying but it is very relevant for me today I need to visit someone today and this came as an answer through prayer for this visit. We all like to have friends, company and to be accepted for who we are. And there come times particularly when you walk in Jesus and He leads His people daily. People call for you for to be with them and they like your abilities , resource’s and that you are fervent and loyal as in the passage above zealous. Yes you have the invite but to what cost? They invite you for what you offer not your own good or even theirs. They will exclude you that in the way of the world you will want them and be in their company and be zealous for them. You will be used and your abilities but in service to them, turning you from service for the Lord. Be careful of counterfeit relationships they will not bring an endurance that will be good for either party. Forgive them for they do not what they do. The world is all they know and its ways. They have not opened the door of Christ, to His way; to the life that will lead them in being able to do what is right in life, the path of righteousness.
