Friendly between Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray: After the tragic incident in the mines of Soma, where more than 250 miners died, almost all Turkish football clubs have decided to help the families of the victims. Almost all teams held a minute of silence before their practice and Bursaspor players trained all in black, with a white helmet. Trabzonspor players will train with helmets, before their league game, to show their support. Besiktas JK will donate all the earnings from their match against Gençlerbirligi to the victims in Soma. Fenerbahçe on the other has decided to donate all the money they will get in this week from Fenerium (their store) to the families and they will also pay for the education of the children of the victims. But not only Turkish football clubs showed their respect for the incident, also other football clubs from across the whole world did. Famous football clubs like FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea FC and also football players like David Luiz, Lukas Podolski and Mesut Özil all showed their full support for the victims. Friendly between Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray SK It is confirmed by Galatasaray SK that they will play a friendly against Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid player, Arda Turan will play against his former football team. This game will be played in Istanbul. The date isnt confirmed yet, but it will be played in August. The money they will receive from this friendly will be given to people in Soma, as a help for the families.
